Heavenly Father,
In Your boundless compassion and infinite wisdom, we come before You today to uplift the valiant hearts of Portland's veterans, those guardians of peace who have faced the storm of conflict and now bear the invisible wounds of PTSD.
We ask for Your comforting embrace to enfold them, for Your light to pierce the shadows of their memories, and for Your peace to fill the spaces where turmoil has taken hold. Grant them strength, O Lord, not just in body, but in mind and spirit, to navigate the challenging paths they tread.
Bless them with understanding and supportive communities, where their stories are met with open hearts and minds, where their service is honored, and their needs are addressed with kindness and competence.
Inspire us, Your children, to act as Your hands and feet on earth, to offer our time, our resources, and our love to assist those who have given so much in our stead. May we never forget their sacrifices, and may we be ever ready to support them in their journey toward healing and wholeness.
Grant, O Divine Healer, that through our actions and Your grace, these brave men and women may find solace, a renewed sense of hope, and a path forward. May they feel Your presence in their lives as a constant source of peace and strength.
