"The idea for Help Our Heroes US emerged from recognizing a gap in support services for our veterans," said founder of Help Our Heroes ,John Reinhart. "Many veterans in our community struggle to afford basic home maintenance services. Our platform not only helps them get these services for free but also allows the community to actively engage in supporting our heroes."
Help Our Heroes US operates on a dual approach. The e-commerce section offers a range of products, with proceeds directly funding the services for veterans. Additionally, the crowdfunding aspect enables individuals to contribute directly to specific projects or general funds.
"Our goal is to create a sustainable model where community engagement and online shopping go hand in hand with philanthropy," said developer Rick Moghadam, who was hired to build the platform for Help Our Heroes "Every purchase or donation made on our platform translates into real, tangible help for a veteran in need."
The platform hopes to gain attention and support from local businesses and national organizations, eager to give back to those who have served the country.
